What to publish on a creator sponsorship profile

A practical profile checklist for current channel context, offered formats, performance methodology, commercial starting points, boundaries, and trusted contact.

A sponsorship profile should help a legitimate advertiser decide whether to send a relevant proposal. It should not expose every private Analytics screen or make claims that the creator cannot verify. Publish current, decision-useful facts; label negotiable terms; and give every time-sensitive statement a review date.

Describe the current channel

Use two or three sentences to explain the topics, recurring formats, and viewer problem the channel addresses now. Link to the public channel and select representative recent work. Avoid broad labels that no longer match the upload history. If the channel operates in more than one language or format, explain which one is available for sponsorship.

Show formats and boundaries

List formats the creator actually offers, such as integrated placement, dedicated video, Shorts, live stream, or community post. For each, state what is normally included and what needs separate discussion. Add categories the creator will not promote, disclosure commitments, and limits on claims or scripted opinions. Clear boundaries reduce irrelevant offers.

Present performance with context

If public summaries are shown, specify the format, sample window, observation date, and statistic. A median of recent comparable videos is more interpretable than one lifetime high. Keep long-form and Shorts separate. Private retention, demographic, or revenue screens should be shared only when necessary, permitted, and intentionally approved. Redact unrelated personal or third-party information.

Explain commercial starting points

A rate card can show starting scope, currency, included revisions, expense treatment, and which rights require a separate quote. Do not present a starting amount as a binding offer for every concept. Mark availability by a broad period rather than exposing private reasons or a detailed personal calendar.

Establish a trustworthy contact path

Use a verified platform workflow or a business address controlled by the creator. Explain what a first proposal must contain: advertiser identity, product, objective, deliverables, timing, budget approach, and requested rights. State that passwords, verification codes, deposits, and gift-card purchases are never required to review a sponsorship.

Run a monthly accuracy check

Review public links, formats, sample windows, starting terms, blackout periods, portfolio permissions, and contact details. Remove work the creator no longer offers. Record the last review date. If information is still uncertain, say contact for confirmation rather than turning it into a precise claim.

Official sources and limits

YouTube recommends that creators understand their audience and channel statistics when preparing for brand deals. Creator Partnerships campaign details can include brand identity, goals, deliverables, talking points, calls to action, and payment information, while the final agreement remains between the parties.
