CREATOR SEARCH GUIDE

What should you check when choosing creators?

Even when few channels are public or a search has no results, you can set clear criteria before preparing a collaboration. Compare these points against the campaign goal.

Subscribers

One indicator of possible reach. Do not use the number alone to judge audience interest or sponsorship fit.

Average and median views

Average views can be shaped by an outlier, while the median can show a more typical range for recent videos.

Content category

Check whether the product and audience expectation fit naturally with the channel’s topic, voice, and production style.

Long-form and Shorts mix

Performance can vary by format within the same channel. Compare using the format you want for the sponsorship.

Upload cadence

Recent activity is a starting point for schedule discussions, although a gap can have many reasons.

Sponsorship format and budget

Review the desired format, such as PPL, branded video, or Shorts, together with published pricing and terms that need discussion.

CHANNEL INFORMATION

How is Danchuu channel information created?

Creators select and connect YouTube channels they actually own during Google sign-in. Danchuu uses only the read-only data needed to verify the channel and analyze public videos; it never receives YouTube passwords or requests permission to edit or delete videos.

A connected channel appears in public discovery only after operations review and the creator’s publication choice. An empty result therefore means no channel matching the conditions is public now; Danchuu does not substitute fictional channels.

COMPARISON METHOD

How to compare creators

First, state the campaign goal in one sentence. Prioritized channel metrics and formats differ for awareness, product use, and short reach-focused videos.

Then compare candidates using the same time period and format. Separating long-form from Shorts and noting the usual recent range and content topic makes the reasoning clearer than mixing subscriber and average-view figures.

Finally, check published terms and availability, then write why the channel fits your proposal. Public information supports an initial decision and does not guarantee final terms or results.
